To enrich the lives of youth by providing professional musical theatre performances and educational opportunities by teaching the craft of musical theatre to youth and adults in a nurturing environment that encourages confidence-building, teamwork, performance skills and a sense of pride in a quality finished product. |

To enhance each individual's skills by allowing them to engage public audiences in the wonder of theatre, and perhaps inspiring further participation in theatre or an allied art. |

To encourage involvement in the community by uniting together and volunteering to perform for organizations in order to help raise funds for the people and businesses in Eastern Tennessee and the surrounding areas. |

Since their first sold-out performances at the Palace Theater in Maryville, TN, in
December 2006, SKIT has received an overwhelming amount of community support
and praise. Hundreds of individuals have seen the shows, commenting on the talent of
our performers, and the elaborate costumes, sets and staging. Families of SKIT children
